I was fortunate enough recently to hear a speech by Senator DeMint.  One of his great quotes was “Faith leads to morals, morals lead to values, values lead to principles, principles lead to policies and policies lead to freedom.”  Maybe that is why in some areas of the world, true freedom does not exist, because freedom cannot exist, or exist for long, without the proper foundation.  If you like his stance on matters of freedom and religion, you’ll LOVE his record on fiscal matters.  Senator DeMint is a true conservative senator well worth watching.

DeMint: Capitol Visitor Center Fails to Honor Faith

DeMint issued a statement Tuesday criticizing the new facility for “omitting the history of faith.” DeMint noted that the new tourist spot ignored his request to include the phrase “In God We Trust” and the Pledge of Allegiance. (more…)
