Republican Party of Louisiana

The most important election of our lifetimes is now just two weeks away.  As the race continues to tighten across the country the Republican Party and Republican activists across Louisiana are rallying behind John McCain and Sarah Palin.  Now is the time when each of us must do our part to educate undecided voters and make sure our friends and neighbors show up at the polls on Election Day.  As we prepare for the final push I wanted to share with you some of the great news coming in from the campaigns across the state. Director Forbidden to Show Film of McCain

Monday, October 13th, 2008

Have you noticed how Hollywood pushes their agenda (think the movie “W” which is “based on a true story”, yeah, right) and refuses to play anything that might be seen as favorable to conservatives or dare I say…the truth?

By: Tim Collie

The director of the feature film “Hanoi Hilton” — which depicts the North
Vietnamese POW compound where John McCain was held — is being forbidden by a
Hollywood studio from promoting the 20th anniversary edition of the DVD or
sharing footage of McCain before Election Day, according to Politico.com. (more…)

REMARKS BY JOHN MCCAIN IN ALBUQUERQUE, NM

ARLINGTON, VA — U.S. Senator John McCain today delivered the following remarks as prepared for delivery at the McCain-Palin 2008 rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico:
In less than a month, the American people will make a choice on where they want this country to go, and who they trust to lead us in a time of war and economic crisis. The time for debating and electioneering is drawing to a close. Soon it will be the time for choosing.
Today we have seen a reminder of the importance of that choice. (more…)

Biden’s 14 Lies

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

Each time Senator Biden was on his heels, he looked directly into the camera and lied — more than a dozen times by our count.  He lied about John McCain’s record, his own record, and Barak Obama’s dangerous policies.  Governor Palin showed the American people tonight why a McCain-Palin Administration will bring real reform, leadership, and straight talk to Washington.” –Tucker Bounds, spokesman McCain-Palin 2008  (more…)

Chairman’s Update
Republican Party of Louisiana

It’s an exciting time to be a Republican in Louisiana.  Governor Bobby Jindal remains extremely popular, and rightfully so.  His sound leadership guided us through the hurricane evacuations and will see us through the recovery.  John McCain is running strong in Louisiana because he’s committed to lower taxes, expanding our domestic energy resources, protecting the sanctity of human life and winning the War on Terror.  John McCain shares our values.  As we approach the final stage of this critical election cycle I wanted to take just a minute to update you on the rest of the news around Louisiana.
