Should the RNC engage in more policy debate?  If we are the ones that protect the party’s identity or brand-lower taxes, less spending, smaller government, strong families and a strong national defense-shouldn’t we be leading the way on our core principles when policy is discussed? 

I am very proud of all of our candidates for RNC chairman.  I have carefully studied the candidates running for RNC Chairman and found them all to be qualified, decent individuals.

When the liberal media began criticizing a couple of them, Ken Blackwell issued what I consider a wise and measured response. He didn’t throw them under the bus to score easy political points. I think this shows true understanding and reveals the temperament appropriate for a party chairman.
